Hands Off! Community Voter Celebration Event
Community Voter Celebration | April 5th | 5:00 PM | The Pub at Baxter Brewing (Hosted by the Blue Anchor Project — Partnering with Hands Off!)
After we take to the streets with the national Hands Off! mobilization, the Blue Anchor Project invites you to a night of community, conversation, and celebration — because standing up for democracy deserves more than silence.
We’re gathering at The Pub at Baxter Brewing Company, the same spot where we’ve come together before, to share stories, build connections, and celebrate the people-powered movement we’re building — with or without the politicians who dismiss events like this as “buzzy” or “politically motivated.”
Food & drinks available for purchase — come as you are, bring friends, and make it a real community night.
We’ll even be saving a chair for Congressman Golden — should he decide to show up and listen to the people he represents. Either way, we’ll be here, because community is too important to ignore.
All Hands Off! events are committed to nonviolence and community care.

Lincoln County Democratic Committee (LCDC) Progressive Orgs Action Fair
Unfortunately we have been disinvited to this event, even though we are what they consider “progressive action organizations” - they refuse to let us in for reasons they refuse to explain to us. Its disappointing they have done this as we were looking forward to engaging with the community and listening to their concerns. This will not stop us, we will continue to hold our own events and ensure your voice is heard and listened too!
The Lincoln County Democratic Committee (LCDC) Action Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the American Legion Post 42, located at 527 Main Street, Damariscotta, ME 04543.
This event brings together local organizations, activists, and community members dedicated to promoting democratic values and civic engagement. The Blue Anchor Project (BAP) is excited to participate, aiming to connect with attendees, share our mission, and listen to the community’s concerns.
Event Highlights:
Engage with BAP Representatives: Learn about our initiatives and discover how you can get involved in promoting progressive change.
Community Conversations: Discuss pressing issues with fellow community members and explore collaborative solutions.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations working towards common goals.
We invite all attendees to visit our booth, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore avenues for active participation in our democracy. Your voice and involvement are crucial in building a stronger, more inclusive community.
Join us at the LCDC Action Fair to make a difference and contribute to the positive momentum in our region.
